The Southern California chapter of Mystery Writers of America presented its third annual lifetime achievement award, "The Marlowe," to writer-producer-director Blake Edwards (of Pink Panther, Peter Gunn, etc., fame) at a June ceremony at the Friars Club. Bob, chapter president, looked on as the presentation was made by special guest Julie Andrews. |
