Mystery Writers
of America Raven Award winner Joan Hansen's seventh annual "Men of Mystery"
luncheon October 28 in Irvine, CA, packed the Irvine Marriott Hotel (as usual),
with teachers, librarians and assorted other mystery fans who turned out to
meet, greet and get books signed by the 50 authors in attendance, featured
speakers Jeffery Deaver and Martin Cruz Smith among them. One of the few authors
who's appeared at all seven events: Robert S. Levinson, here with some faces in
the crowd, during the luncheon and at the reception for authors that followed
the six hour program:
