BEAUTIES AND THE BOB
(Well, we think it was "Bob" they were saying when the Southern California
chapter of Mystery Writers of America resumed its meeting schedule following the
traditional summer break with a panel about books that feature amateur
detectives, comprising (from left) Patricia Smiley, Harley Jane Kozak, Susan
Kandel, and moderator Robert S. Levinson. The crowd was SRO for the luncheon
session at Taix Restaurant.
