So one day I decided to call gay sex lines, eventually my dad got the phone bill which was very expensive and then asked me if I am gay when I was 20 years old, I said I'm not sure. My Auntie aked me if I am Gay a couple of months later, I told her that I am. Ever since she has known she is often encouraging me and keeps talking to me about it - although she lives quite far away from me. My Mum and Dad would'nt talk about it at all until about a week ago/ 2002, she asked me if we should talk about it, we did just that, My Mum and Dad, two Sisters and each of their boyfriends now know and are fine about it. My Mum and my Dad have told my Nan and some of their friends - they have all said it is ok. I asked my mum if she would mind if I had a boyfriend and she doesn't so I am pleased. I have still got a long way to go before I come out to everyone I know. I didnt quite come to terms with it but now I am very proud of who I am. All I need to do now is go to a support group, make friends, go to the gay scene and get a boyfriend which at the moment I am finding hard to do but I'll get there.
