Bob dropped in at the Metropolitan
Museum of Art during a trip to New York for a meeting of the MWA national
board of directors and, of course, had to spend a few minutes with Andy
Warhol. (That was the last oil Andy did prior to his wholly unexpected
death.) |

As co-emcee of this year's Edgar
Awards of the Mystery Writers of America, Bob had the honor of announcing
a special Edgar for distinguished writer-director Blake Edwards, who was
unable to attend the ceremony. Back in Los Angeles, Bob and MWA National
President Bill Link (right) visited Blake at his home and made the
presentation there. |
